I don't think so. GPU boosts to max freq and hits VRel, GPU load is at max, it's just that the power usage stays super low... The previous WU was at 46,517,776 PPD, this one is at 2,754,802.

On p18245 I'm usually getting around 21 secs TPF. All of a sudden I have this WU (RCG 18215,2,0) that has a TPF of 1m 57s... GPU is barely loaded. Not sure what's going on.

Yes, issue should be now fixed in 8.5.2. Plus, with the latest commit of jcoffland in 8.5.3, return codes from OS interrupted cores are now ignored when quitting. OK, I understand it is a known issue on the radar and that apparently it may not be straightforward to address (and indeed, I haven't obviously seen your codebase). Hope you find a solution - it would avoid wasting valuable compute time in such situations.
