Re: What do you think is missing in version 6.20 ?
My addition to the wish list would be that client does not interfere with day to day work on the PC. I do think it's great that the pause and quit functions are so readily available on the systray client, but I miss the transparency of the uniprocessor and SMP clients when it comes to staying out o...

Re: Does F@H ever run out of work?
A quick scan of the server status page indicates about 400,000 WUs available, about 250,000 available for classic clients. With 209951 active CPUs (defined as thosed that returned work within 50 days), it's a possiblity, if Pande group goes on holiday for 2 months =P

Re: Can slow CPUs make a difference?
Almost every CPU makes a difference.... as long as they can complete their WUs. Your 900Mhz CPU must use the uniprocessor, but it should be able to complete its WUs (i think the cut-off is about 400mhz for 24/7 folding to complete WUs). If you think about it, there're are 209,951 active processor......

It's a hardware issue pertaining to the quality of capacitors.
Nice of you to join this forum, for Nvidia issues please post under the Nvidia-specific forum under GPU clients. Thanks.

Re: What do you think is missing in version 6.20 ?
2. This idea has been suggested before, but the answer was no. It would slow the project down, if u download 10 WUs in advance and take 5 days to complete each, you would definitely exceed both the preferred and final deadline 3,4. Use FAHMON to track console clients. However this is a good start fo...

Re: 5102 ppd
whichhh leads us to question why the speed of folding on the benchmark machine is not scaling properly, or whether there was an error in benchmarking.

http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... pe=osstats From the website above you should be able to calculate the MFLOP/TFLOP output per CPU/GPU/PS3 Client. What the quote simply does is to explain the basis behind parallel/distributed computing: to split the workload into smaller pieces to be manag...

Can't search for "1.10" [use the google site search]
I was looking for posts on the new ATI core 1.10, and i typed 1.10 into the search box. and i got: The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: 1 10 Perhaps there is a way to allow words in quotations to pass off as 4 characters, so as to allow core versio...

Re: Team Member Certificates Showing "0" WU / Points
No no, what he means is that on the main stats page it shows points and Wus, but when he clicks on the cert it shows 0. By the way Brownbullhead, your team stats certificate looks okay, only the some specific to Matthews_Mom. The same happened to me a few weeks, but it's okay now. Could be a variety...
