Re: Stats Server Down

Looks like EOC duplicated thousands of users. Every team has loads of 'new' users. https://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/ ... ost4180113 Ah, I searched for one of the duplicate users at Stanford and only found one result so assumed EOC was duplicating on its own. I didn't look at flat files though...

Re: Project 14124 what wrong with you?

I thought my GPU crashed since HFM was showing like 64k PPD on a 980Ti. 21,1,0 on a completed task. 11,0,1 on one running atm.

Re: Nvidia Pascal GPU cards???

Before pascal they were I think $400-500. 970 around $300 with 980Ti at $600. So if the same performance (we'll see) at less W for less $ seems pretty good.

Re: AMD Polaris GPU

If definitely won't be right at release. The 1080/1070s are well above MSRP still. Unless they have a lot of cut down die to use in the 1060 would it hit its expected price targets quickly.

Some more competition would be nice from AMD.

Re: Unable to download new WU's

Change the -1 to 6. There are no more WUs being assigned that support 7 threads which is what you'll get with an 8 threaded CPU and a GPU.

Re: FahCore returned: FAILED_3 (255 = 0xff)

Does that driver support your 770? Does GPU-Z show all the correct info, esp OpenCL checked?

Re: Empty work server assignment??? [cpu:7]

That could be true as well. I stopped CPU 7 folding awhile ago in favor of a thread for the OS and really CPU folding all together more recently. Those CPU folding would have to see if those units they got with CPU-7 are still being issued with 6 threads.

Re: Empty work server assignment??? [cpu:7]

PG definitely changed their server config recently to not send out some primes like 7 and 11. Projects used to be limited if there were errors now its just straight cut off.

Re: Fans Got Quiet

The quote you put in is incorrect. 346.96 which is a Linux driver does have fan control. It is not applicable to any other OS and its content is wrong for the OS it is meant for.

Re: Not the second unit download CPU

Chance your CPU slot from 11 to 10. 11 is a prime and those WUs are not being sent by some servers any more. Change your CPU cores from 11 to 10. 11 is a prime and those WUs are not being sent by some servers any more. Configure -> Slots -> cpu -> CPUs (from 11 to 10 cores) Threads.
