No "Extra SSE Boost"?
I'm not getting the "Extra SSE Boost" message, someone mentioned that if this is the case one should reboot but this apparantly isn't working for my little comp

Re: No "Extra SSE Boost"?
Some cores doesn't print it (because they don't support SSE).

Re: No "Extra SSE Boost"?
Ah.. Thats probably the answer then... I just noted that whilst I usually get about 300 points per day per core on my desktop and laptop I've recently only been getting 100-150, thought it had something to do with the sse thing but, seeing as how it doesnt "fix" when I reboot sounds like I'm running work units that dont support it, likely something else going on with my comp then
Thanks toTOW sorry for the ignorance

Re: No "Extra SSE Boost"?
If you post which project you're folding, I'll be able to tell if it can use SSE or not.

Re: No "Extra SSE Boost"?
4615 is an Amber project and that does n't use SSE - but AMD CPUs like them, and tend to work faster then Intells on those WUs.
