Project 16815, Timeout is zero

Hello, just got this project assigned a short while ago and the timeout is exactly the same as the assign time. Checking the project summary shows the timeout is set at zero. This seems to be a problem, because checking the WU status( 16815,10,626,49) shows that this WU has been issued twice, before...

Re: 155.247.164.213 responding "PLEASE_WAIT"

I also have this exact same poblem. Server 155.247.166.219. The server connects and the WU uploads to 95% before the Please wait message.

Re: 155.247.166.219 sent 1.5 year old WU [Project 14188]

I was also wondering about this. Currently have one due to finish in about 7 hours and one was completed yesterday but not found on the status page. What I would like to understand is, how are we getting these WUs when the server shows zero work units and other servers have many more plus a higher a...

Re: COULD NOT FOLD: FahCore returned: INTERRUPTED (102 = 0x6

Yes I've done a fresh installation after an uninstall with "purge" flag. It didn't work but, some days later, folding is available again. Is this because I have now only four cores running and gpu off? Hello, glad You are folding again. If You look at the thread linked further abo...

Re: Unusually low PPD on project 16927?

"Are there other people experiencing this, or is the benchmark for this project known to be skewed?" Yes, had a couple of those, my 8 thread intel cpu needs over 4 Hours to complete these worrk units. PPD is under half the normal average 60,000 PPD. Just checked the one that finished and u...

Re: 16926 - Some sort of loops with this CPU WU

Do not use sudo in a gui, it can mess up permissions.
In file manager, navigate to /var/lib/fahclient/work/ . Right click on the work folder and it should give You a dropdown menu.
Choose open as administrator. There should then be no problem deleting the WU folder.

Re: COULD NOT FOLD: FahCore returned: INTERRUPTED (102 = 0x6

I would not be suprised if this is not another 16926 WU. If it is and the suggestion from Joe H does not get You folding again, then the WU will need to be dumped. Pause FAH, Go into file manager: datasystem / var / lib / fahclient / work , Delete the folder with the number corresponding to the slot...

Re: 16926 - Some sort of loops with this CPU WU

Dumped 2 more WU,s on different machines, one 6 cores and one 8 cores so also not an issue here.
Have had quite a few of these wu,s before and had no problems really good ppd as well.

Had the same problem with 16926 (13 711 5). Pausing and rebooting did not work. Had to remove Work file to dump. :(

Re: Today GPU classified as beta

First, thanks for the replies, they confirm some of my suspicions. I bo not have the original logs anymore because one of the things I tried was a complete deinstallation including all data. You are correct about the Intel GPU, this is a laptop with I7 cpu and discrete Nvidia GPU. My suspicion is, so...

Re: 206.223.170.146

Still not uploaded. Probably does not help that assign rate is set at over 70,000 an hour and no CS.

My other machine was also stalled by being constantly assigned to this server. After a reboot finally got WU from another server.

206.223.170.146

Client has been trying and retrying, for more than 4 hours, to upload finished WU to this server.

Server response is, please wait (464). Can somebody take a look, server status shows online and assign.

Re: CUDA Update to FAHCore_22

@psaam0001: GT 1030 only has 2GB VRAM. So maybe CUDA_ERROR_LAUNCH_FAILED means out of memory? I am folding on a laptop with a GTX 960M 2GB VRAM, on Linux Mint, it folds all Wu's thrown at it, so I dont think memory would be the problem. Currently folding almost exclusively 13427 work units. After u...
