Re: Plz add NVIDIA GA100 [A100 PCIe 80GB] | NVIDIA H100 NVL
Vendor ID 0x1414 (or 5140 in stupid decimal notation that FAH v8 keep using) is Microsoft Corporation, so something is wrong in your setup ... :( The Device IDs you provided are correct for the cards. I also added a few other models that had Device IDs around these and that were missing. It's a VM ...

Re: Plz add NVIDIA GA100 [A100 PCIe 80GB] | NVIDIA H100 NVL
They both have been added I may have made a mistake(?) - what the system detects is different than what FaH detects It looks like FaH detects the same IDs for both cards Card #1 NVIDIA Corporation GA103 [10de:2321] (rev a1) FaH detects NVIDIA H100 NVL |PCI Vendor ID 0x1414 PCI Device ID 0xb111 http...

Re: Missing Installation Guides
This is the blank page - https://foldingathome.org/faqs/installation-guides/ The linking page is from https://foldingathome.org/guides/v8-4-client-guide/ - the section pointing to the v7 config guide is where the break occurs: Installation The v8 client can run on Windows, macOS, Linux and ARM Linux...

Modify team: Invalid team or email not set.
I'm trying to adjust our team information but it looks like the team never had an email address set for the reset code. Options?

Putty/Telnet - Remote connecting w/ Password?
Ideally looking for information on interactively managing a F@HClient remotely via command line. Worst case I'll accept sending single commands each time. Problem: All the guides I've seen assume either the (1) the server is local or (2) there is no password on the Server In my case I have remote se...

Re: Azure - GPU Series - Tech Specs on diff series
FAH also needs read/write storage where it can download semi-permanent code. Though the FAHCores change rarely, a container should not need to download it every time it needs to use it. Where do you plan to store the "cores" directories? Inasmuch as FAH is now providing containerized code...

Re: Azure - GPU Series - Tech Specs on diff series
@PantherX thank you. I think I have a good starting point, especially with the reference to CUDA cores. I also came across an efficiency breakdown on popular GPUs - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0

Re: Azure - GPU Series - Tech Specs on diff series
Folding@home is NOT stateless! You need to have persistent storage, or you will be putting more load on the servers, and cause some other problems (that I will not detail here) as well. There is more about persistent storage written in the container README - https://github.com/foldingathome/contain...

Azure - GPU Series - Tech Specs on diff series
Hi Everyone, Azure VM compute expert here. Quite a few of the guides I've read on this and other sites go into many manual steps (like installing the GPU drivers) and fail to take into account low to no cost options components while still being able to advantage of the a GPU series capable VM. I pla...
