No. I use VPN too and everything works fine.

In my practice many hosting companies and cloud providers Prohibit mining/crunching, but they might have special offers for miners/scientists/any other crunchers. You should consult if they ok with that.

Looks like something wrong with your OS. Do you use Windows 10 ?

Try to boot safe mode. Also try "sfc /scannow" in command prompt.

Something wrong with Folding@home client. There are FAHControl and Folding@home items in the windows start. You should launch both. May by restarting the app ( Folding@home client ) help.

Me yes. And I think many people yes. It's pretty aggressive to start crunching several-hour task without my command and even any notice. I always didn’t like it.

Could you make a post about any of Nvidia Quadro GPUs? I’ve heard that Quadro is almost twice more efficient in double-precision ( FP64 ) calculations than non-Quadro equivalent. FP64 is what you need for Folding. It’s very interesting.

Hungry CPUs and GPUs are already gobbled up most of covid tasks and laid down some servers. Society is the Power.

I suggest not to use mail.ru for important purposes, you will lose messages all the time.

There are four CPU projects. Two of them are up and running. Another two ones are available in Advanced mode. I've already crunched dozen of CPU tasks.
