Re: Projects 7000-7028 Assignments
The Gromacs A4 core (which is used in these projects) requires SSE2 support. I don't know if this is the reason your Toshiba Pent M uniprocessor has not been given any of these projects.

What about a conference or meeting of

Re: Project: 7020 (Run 1, Clone 304, Gen 1) LINCS Warning
Thanks for pointing it out. This is not a serious warning. LINCS is a method used to keep some distances in the molecule constrained. Some times the algorithm fails to converge. However, rarely does this cause a crash. Again, thank you for folding!

Re: Projects 10012-10085 -> accelerate F@H 100 times?
@7im: yes, you've summarized our approach well. For those of you who are curious, by the end of the summer 2011 we hope to have characterized the performance / accuracy tradeoff of this methodology. Things are looking good. Then we hope to deploy it for select projects on an OpenMM GPU core by the e...

Re: Projects 10012-10085 -> accelerate F@H 100 times?
All of our A4 projects on 129.74.85.15 were lacking k-factors. We have adjusted this recently for all A4 projects to be more in line with the point guidelines by the Pande Group. That's why you see the changes. Thank you

Re: Project: 7018 (Run 2, Clone 19, Gen 3) Incorrect Points
I've confirmed that it is very difficult to do manual re-credit on these projects. However, bonus credits should be OK now

Re: Project: 7004 (Run 1, Clone 235, Gen 0): Incorrect Point
I will look into the possibility of manual re-crediting but I am not sure if that'll work

The WS for these projects has been restarted such that it should assign bonus points from now on
I am not sure about re-assigning points but will look into it

Re: Project: 7004 (Run 1, Clone 235, Gen 0): Incorrect Point
We restarted the WS. Accidentally, a line that instructs the WS to give bonus points
in the XML configuration of the projects was missing.
It should give bonus points now. Thanks

Version 24 of the Protomol core is on advmethods
Version 24 of the Protomol core is on advmethods This version addresses the "Guru Meditation" error. This error is caused when the state of a file is inconsistent upon restart. Now every time the trajectory file is written (the DCD file) the checksum is written. This should eliminate the m...

Re: Project: 10006 (Run 4440, Clone 1, Gen 0) Guru Meditation?
Hi I think this might be a bug. We are beta testing version 23 which implements a more robust checkpointing. For reasons of client availability, we have tested it more on linux. It might be that somehow in Windows things are not working out as expected - the checksumming is carried out by the C++ Bo...
