Problem with QRB
It seems that I'm not receiving my QRB with some (all?) of my folders. I'm certain that the passkey provided by Stanford was properly entered for all clients, so that can't be the problem. Could there possibly be any other issues? Here's a screen shot of HFM, and a link to my stats. HFM has been indicating 80,000-100,000 PPD for the last week or so, but I haven't been close to even 50,000 PPD according to all stats.
Edit: I can't post a link as I've just signed up and there's a forum restriction. User ID on EOC stats = 4520
Not pictured in HFM, but also folding:
GTX 580
GTX 460
Q6700
E7500
Athlon tripple core
All set up to fold smp with 6.34 for:
Username: Fever
Team: 32
With passkey
What's keeping me from receiving my QRB?
Thanks in advance.

What kind of hardware is "hpcloud..." ? Is it fast enough to make the deadlines?
How to provide enough information to get helpful support

Re: Problem with QRB
I'm in HP's beta testing for their cloud servers, and I run F@H on them. All instances are more than fast enough. 4c = 4 CPU core, 8c = 8 cores. Not exactly sure what the hardware is, but I believe it's based on Sandy Bridge.

Re: Problem with QRB
There were reports that people using HPCS were using the corehack to get -bigadv projects assigned, however there are lots of reports that most assignments are now vanilla SMP.Prelude514 wrote:I'm in HP's beta testing for their cloud servers, and I run F@H on them. As for the hardware, AKAIK sandy based xeons are not yet available in MP configurations, this stuff is either opteron based or s1366/s1567 xeon

Can you post some PRCG from recently completed WU so that we check what happened ?

Re: Problem with QRB
None of the WUs listed on your HFM screenshot have been credited with bonus points. Something must be wrong with your passkey configuration or with the QRB qualification conditions ...

Re: Problem with QRB
Thanks for the info. The first guide I followed to set everything up on the cloud actually used the core hack, but I'm terrible with Linux and didn't realize that at the time. Once I realized (after crunching one bigadv that I didn't get QRB on either) I reinstalled the client to fold normal SMP, as all my machines are set up for.Nathan_P wrote:There were reports that people using HPCS were using the corehack to get -bigadv projects assigned, however there are lots of reports that most assignments are now vanilla SMP.Prelude514 wrote:I'm in HP's beta testing for their cloud servers, and I run F@H on them. So that confirms what I've been thinking. Looking at my daily stats on EOC, I believe that QRB stopped working for me sometime between Jan. 11th to Jan. 15th. Take a look below:toTOW wrote:None of the WUs listed on your HFM screenshot have been credited with bonus points. I only started up the HP servers on Jan. 25th. With all the extra power, I'm only making about half the PPD as I was before. (Up to 75K)
Thanks for investigating so far, toTOW. Let me know if I can provide you with anymore information.

Re: Problem with QRB
Forgot to mention, I've gone through all of my clients. The passkey was properly entered in all instances. Could my passkey be broken? I'm also positive I'm above the 80% return rule, as I never dump WUs and all of my machines are rock stable.

Re: Problem with QRB
Don't forget that you also need to complete 80% or better of WU before the preferred deadline, i know that several on our team have had issues with the servers dropping off linePrelude514 wrote:Forgot to mention, I've gone through all of my clients. Re: Problem with QRB
As mentioned, I'm positive that I've returned over 80% before deadline. Logs usually indicate "returned with 98% of deadline remaining" or so. Is there any other way to verify?

Re: Problem with QRB
I checked a few more WUs from your list :
All WUs are completed with no error and within the deadline ...
If your passkey is well entered in all your clients, the only thing that might be broken is the 80% completion rate ... but I don't think we have a way to check this ...

Re: Problem with QRB
Hmmm... Well, that really sucks. Thanks for looking into the matter for me.
So I should just keep on folding this way? If I am below 80% returned (which I'm sure I'm not) I'll eventually work my way back up to 80% and start receiving the bonus again I guess?
Is there any way for me to change my passkey? As I'm fairly certain mine is no longer valid/working, considering I meet all QRB requirements.
Edit: Am I able to access the information you posted in your last post? Or is that only available to moderators such as yourself?

Re: Problem with QRB
I think you can request another passkey by entering your informations again on : http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/getpasskey.py
If you enter the same informations as before, I guess it will give you the same passkey, so you will be able to double check what you entered in each client (be careful of unwanted space or hidden characters).
And the tool I used is only available to mods.

Are you getting bonus points for SMP on your home computers (using the same UserName and the same Passkey)?
