I have not received credit for yet another WU. Here is the log. Also, what is a reasonable amount of time to wait before following up on the previous WU I reported not getting credit for?

That's because that is all there is in the log. I restarted the cleient this morning and it attempted to send it but cannot. The servers are not accepting the uploads. Server 130.237.232.237:8080 and 130.237.232.237:80. This is not the first time this has happend this week.

Just curious but what file system are you using ext 3 or ext 4 and how long are you waiting for it to send could you post the rest of the log so we can see what is happening you may be shutting it down before it completely sends. If you are you may corrupt the file or the server may be refusing the connection because it got cut off during the prior upload to it. The server appears to be working OK so I do not think it is on the Server end.

The server is working as I have uploaded 3 6904's to the same server this week including one less than 12 hours ago. It must be some king of local problem but not the problem with ext 4. If it was these two lines would not be seperated by less than a minute

Is it the same machine that is giving you all these problems horvat or are they different rigs?

Just noticed it was sent and received successfully but that was after 12 hours. Also note it attmepts to keep resending it. I have noted that has been occurring semi routinely also. I have 4 systems set up the same and not all of them do this. Any thoughts?

Given that you have four machines are 2 of the trying to upload at the same time? on my machines if one is uploading it locks out the connection until it has finished.

another thought - what happens if you shut down the affected machine and reboot -the client will attempt to send any outstanding work, does this upload a WU?

I would just watch it where it says [22:53:36] - Server has already received unit. [22:53:36] Project: 6903 (Run 3, Clone 19, Gen 4) means you successfully uploaded it prior to that time it should quit trying to send it now. I had one do the same thing before and after it received that message it stooped happening. I think it is a server error when the server does not report back to your machine that it has successfully received the WU because when it happened to me it was the same scenario that happened to you but this is only the second time I have seen it reported.

Well, p6903 (R11, C0, G53) took over 5 days to return so you only got base credit of 22706 for it. That was the unit that was just returned as number 20. Now p6903 (R3, C19, G4) will be successful return number 21 when your client is able to upload. I would say that for some reason this particular machine has units languishing in its queue.

But the log I posted showed it was completed and returned in less than 5 days. I should not keep getting repeatedly penalized for server issues on the receiveng end. As stated by Grandpa he has seen this once and has it reportd twice. It has been happenin requently with me lately I have lossed almost 1 million points now becouse of this. As tot the other point about 2 WU trying to upload at the same time, that only occured once a day or so ago yet there were no issues with uploading and receiving full credit for those WU's.

I doubt the problem originates on Stanford's end of things like I said I have only seen it twice once from you and once from myself. I have a feeling it has something to do with upload speeds from the users computer. I noticed when it happened to me I was on uploading at a 2KiBs to 40KiBs speed when normally I have a 2MkBs upload speed. After I rebooted everything returned to normal and it only happened on the 1 machine. I had one machine finsh a 6904 about 45 min before that on did and it had no problem and another machine finsh a 6903 3 hours after that one did and it had no problem. So the problem was most likely on my end. If it was a problem on Stanford end you would see it reported allot more, nothing has changed on the 6.34 client in quite a while.

Days taken to complete WU: 3.72

You did complete the WU within the required 5.00 days. This must be one of those cases where you changed your user name or your passkey. If WU is downloaded with one username and passkey and uploaded with a different username or a different passkey, it will receive no bonus.
