HI there. I've noticed that these new projects don't like my hardware all that much. I've had about 5-7 of them over the past 2 days or so and they all eue on me.
My specs are;
xp sp3
amd 9850
9800gt and 9800gtx+. I have the gpus slightly overclocked and when I noticed that my gtx+ had a 5900 I dropped the oc down.

Hi G-Byte,
Yes, these WUs have a higher than normal EUE rate. This is known, and the points for the project take it into account.

That isn't a problem for me. The official meaning of "advmethods" is that we may be assigned projects with a higher than normal EUE rate.ihaque wrote:Hi G-Byte,

Is there a point at which we should decide something is wrong with our machine rather than assuming it's just the way the project is designed?
Re: Project: 5900 (Run 11, Clone 91, Gen 8)
Have folded 23 of these WU's in the last 24 hrs or so. All on XP with only the shaders OCed. No EUE's so far.
2 EVGA 9800GT's 1 EVGA 8800GT and 1 EVGA 9800GTX+. 7 to 10° cooler than other WU's.

There is only one report (from G-Byte) the stats DB ... it's too early to conclude about a bad WU or a random instability.
