FAH PPD seems low?

Post by Igloo »

I have a 9800 GTX XXX - Putting about ~5300 PPD out, Plus a linux box doing ~400 PPD, A PS3 running fah constantly, and 3 more machines computing during the working hours...

Yet my PPD according to my signature seems low?

Any ideas?

Do you run all systems 24/7 ?

Are you sure that you didn't misspell your username and/or team number ?

Check your Stanford stats and see if the listed number of clients (CPU's) that have returned a WU this last week matches the number of clients you are actually running.

I'm sure i've not miss spelled it...

Active processors (within 7 days) 4

which seems to be missing 3...

I wish you could view what was running... I'm running passkeys on my GPU + linux box, So i'd expect them to work... It does appear to be drastically low... My GPU + Linux are 24/7 3 others are 9-5 (only slow systems giving ~110-200 ppd) and the PS3 is 24/7...

Check the UserID on each of your machines to figure out which ones have not uploaded recently. (Multiple clients on the same Windows machine have the same UserID). Here is the last WU uploaded from each client belonging to ^Igloo^

The issue is that you were looking at a 7 day window which excludes those in red. Note the dates that they last submitted a WU.

No single point in time will be completely indicative of your folding performance. WUs turned in just before or just after a PPD snapshot from the Stats will push or pull the numbers up or down. A recent problem in the stats server at Stanford can affect what is reported in your stats signature. And the mix of work units varies over time, affecting PPD up or down slightly. It's better to look at the 7 day moving average, or some length of time longer than a single 3 hour update of the Stanford stats, which may or may not have updated correctly.

The line on this chart seems to be headed in the right direction after a recent problem. http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ ... =&u=366503
