p18245, slow?
On p18245 I'm usually getting around 21 secs TPF. All of a sudden I have this WU (RCG 18215,2,0) that has a TPF of 1m 57s... GPU is barely loaded. Not sure what's going on.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: p18245, slow?
I don't think so. GPU boosts to max freq and hits VRel, GPU load is at max, it's just that the power usage stays super low... The previous WU was at 46,517,776 PPD, this one is at 2,754,802.
[Yeah, something wrong with that WU, picked up another one and all is as expected].

Two more offenders (which I processed in 3 hours each, to the detriment of other better-behaving WUs
:

The same is happening here with:
18273,2,0
18203,2,2
TPF from 60 to 135 sec.

Re: p18245, slow?
Hi, can you post the WU numbers which are folding fine. (18245 series only)
Re: p18245, slow?
For me, fine wus have been (for instance):
2848,2,10
16186,2,9
...
The differences are in TPF (from 60 to 135 sec) and so in PPDs (from 9.5M to 2.8M) and in Watts (from 175-180 to 90). Interestingly enough my poor 5060ti performs on pair with a 5090 with the slow wus...

Re: p18245, slow?
Thanks, the offenders have been pulled. Let us know if you still receive some slow one of this series
Re: p18245, slow?
Apologies for hijacking, but this is interesting to me. I just installed an RTX 5060 yesterday evening. I've seen people say the average PPD is 6mil, but so far i've only been folding p18245, and my PPD has stayed around 4mil, TPF around 1min 50. The clock speed is fine, runs VRel as well, but wattage isn't reaching the specced 145W, and max load keeps fluctuating. Power set at 100% (at least for now for checking) in Nvidia App. My previous GTX 1650 was more stable.
Am I being impatient? Basically, is this particular project causing this PPD, or am I missing something when it comes to power management e.g?

Re: p18245, slow?
Wait for other projects to see if it is the issue with the project or your GPU

Re: p18245, slow?
That seems on the slow side for sure. What types of PPD are you getting with other projects, and what CPU/memory/basics/OS are driving your 5060?Demmers wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2026 10:22 am Apologies for hijacking, but this is interesting to me. Fold them if you get them!
Re: p18245, slow?
I have only had 18245 since installing it, hasn't been stopped since it started Thursday evening. No changes with the numbers at all, stable at TPF 1min 50, 3 hours per WU, 4,000,000 PPD. The main thing that has me scratching my head is why the power draw keeps fluctuating. It has reached the specced TDP 145W but only very briefly, the numbers are just constantly changing every second.BobWilliams757 wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2026 5:17 amThat seems on the slow side for sure. Re: p18245, slow?
Latest p18245 I saw on my 5060 are in the 5.1-5.5 MPPD range, but these systems are running Linux.
You might be CPU limited ...
