Re: Installing on Raspberry Pi
Have you tried installing Linux on the pi?
Have you tried switching it off and on again?
Have you tried again?
How did you try to install it?
Did you try using apt?
Did you use sudo in front of the apt?
Did you add ./ In front of the installation file after sudo apt install?
Did you point sudo apt install to the right location of the installation file?
Have you checked the error messages?
Have you told us what went wrong exactly?
In a minute I will become a new large language model with all this guessing.
I can go on and on until you tell us more information what is going wrong

Same file name, but the first full link given in the OP - https://foldingathome.org/start-folding ... _arm64.deb - goes to a page that doesn't exist. The download links on the Start Folding page points to download.foldingathome.org locations for the files.

This is the link in https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/
Where is that other link coming from?
Oh, unless this link is given when browser reports the OS type. Hm, however, I never had issues downloading it from linux on x86 or even ARM pihole

Re: Installing on Raspberry Pi
Yeah, I’ve run into something similar before. Folding@home can be a bit unpredictable sometimes, especially with certain work units or server-side issues.
Usually what helps is restarting the client or just letting it sit for a while — a lot of the time it fixes itself once new work units come in. Also worth checking logs to see if it’s a specific error repeating.
If it keeps happening, I’d try updating the client or switching slots (CPU/GPU) to see if one behaves better.
