Switched Team
Joined Alliance Francophone team this morning and entered the team #51. All looks good except when I search for my user name "Rollo" it shows me as being a member of Pande Lab. What is going on?

Your nickname will always be shown the old team, and after some time, when servers update, you will show up on the new team too

Re: Switched Team
Usernames are not unique or registered. The name Rollo has been used on a total of 5 different teams including the Pande Lab team. So any points earned and credited to a specific username and team will remain with team.
The API that looks up your stats through the client initially only looked up by username and passkey which will remain unique. The API is a bit sticky and it can take a bit before it will show a different team.
You can use the web apps located here - https://apps.foldingathome.org - to check recent WUs returned and see which team they are credited to. Note that if you changed the team in the middle of processing a WU you will just get base points.

Re: Switched Team
I'll wait a bit longer then. I was confused because I have never been a part of Pande Lab. Been folding all morning and just assumed enough time had passed to update.

Make sure you are using
https://v8-5.foldingathome.org
The old web control did not correctly send account updates to clients. You would have to relaunch a client for it to pick up, for example, a team change.

Re: Switched Team
Whatever team you want or create your own, as far as the F@h consortium is concerned you can select any team just by entering its number. All credits for completed WUs remain with the username, team, etc that they were folded under.
Some teams have rewards, F@h is not involved in those. If you want those rewards you have to follow the team's directions as outlined on their website or other support channels. To say it another way, F@h only awards points, they do not give any other awards or get involved in how teams do any rewards they give out based on those points.
