The client is not picking up any WU and I've tried setting the cpus active from 1 to 9
This happened a week ago. I removed FAH, reinstalled and it was working. I had to leave and set the client to finish the current WU. It did and since then, It does not download any WU.

Re: "No appropriate assignment"?
Bill,
Seeing this line in your log:
00:06:47:I1:Default:Added new work unit: cpus:1 gpus:
It looks like you only have 1 cpu assigned for FAH. You’ll need at least 2 to get a work unit.
The M4 should give you good performance. I see about 600K PPD with 8 cores.
You’ll need to adjust settings in the web client and save the new config.

Re: "No appropriate assignment"?
I think I found a workaround. After logging in, even though the client is trying to get WUs, I clicked pause all, waited a few seconds, clicked Fold All. Now it's downloading and processing a WU. There seems to be an issue with getting the WU when cpu setting at 1 cpu. Maybe. I upped it to 4, it started downloading. I tried backing it down to 1 and it's still working, but settled on 2 cpus. It's running at 104,000ppd
What are your thoughts?
Thanks.

Thoughts are you don't play with CPU thread count every 5 minutes256304 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 18, 2025 10:18 pm I think I found a workaround. Set it to 3 as a minimum and leave it at that.
CPU:1 will not get you any work
CPU:2 will very very rarely get any work
CPU:3 will get you work
