Yes there shouldn't be any difference in PPD from 8GB or 16GB VRAM as long as everything else is the same (memory speed, shader count etc). Both have more than enough VRAM for even the most demanding projects (I'm folding a 1.2M atom count project and it's using less than 0.5GB VRAM). It's only if you have less than 1GB of VRAM and you use the GPU for your regular desktop that you start to run the risk of overflowing into GART (using system memory as VRAM which is slow for dGPUs).scorpuk wrote: ↑Thu May 01, 2025 8:18 pm
Average PPD's from Folding.LAR.Systems
Running cost for 5090 taken from metered computer over a day and averaged out.
I'm presuming no diff in PPD between 8GB and 16GB!
DOH - Cant believe I missed the info on 5060Ti above.
Just need costs now(Costs = running cost of whole PC, not just card)

Cheers @demmers.
I had another look at current prices and overclockers.co.uk have it on sale for £329.99: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/palit-ge ... 04924.html
Updated the chart and sorted on purchase cost per PPD:

RTX5070Ti looks like sweet spot on current costs and what it produces, but I have no data on running costs on anything apart from ther RTX5090, which has now been relegated to gaming.

Good Day,
RTX 5060 recently added to whitelist. Not too sure how to pull metrics within a KVM VM in PVE (W11)
Power limit 90% via Nvidia App
Quick screenshot of PPD:

Thanks for the help!
