Bug with amount of active cores

Post by cgistlaker »

Processor: Intel 14500 20 cores.
GPU: RTX 4060 8GB
FAH: 8.3.5

Steps to reproduce
1. Start folding with default settings -> 19 of 20 cores are active
2. Change slider to 20 active cores -> 20 of 20 cores are active
3. Change slider back to 19 cores

Actual result
18 of 20 cores are active

Expected result
19 of 20 cores are active

The GPU took one cpu thread.
18 + 1 = 19, which you allocated to folding.

But in default settings slider is also on 19, and on default settings all 19 cores are running.
