v8.3.4 - Not Folding (Solved)

I had v8.1.18 running previously on Ubuntu 22.04.3, with 2x RTX 3070s, and have just put v8.3.4 on ...
When it starts, no Folding initiates. In the Folding settings page, it detects 8 CPUs, but doesn't do anything with them, and the GPU entries are empty.
The Log below seems to suggest it can see the GPUs, CUDA and OpenCL, so I'm a little stumped

I have the same problem with V.8.3.4 on Linux Mint 21.3. I was running V8.1.18 successfully, I downloaded the V8.3.4 deb, paused folding and installed the new client. When I went to the FAH client tab in my browser to restart the client, I had to go to the settings page and re-enter my name, team and passkey. I was able to save that successfully, but I am unable to save the number of cpu's I want to use, and the gpu line is blank. When I set the cpu number to 22 and hit save, I see 22 cpu's on the main page, but if I return to the settings page, the cpu line is at 12.
The main folding page on the tab shows downloading for both the cpu and gpu lines for the last few hours but there is no progress. The Pause Folding button does not work. The etc/fah-client/config.xml file content is:

<config/>


and nothing else.

I have screenshots of the Main FAH page and the Settings page from my browser, but I don't know how to upload them to here. I, too, am stumped.

The v8 client only reads an existing config.xml file if one is present from an install of a prior v7 client. It does not store its settings in that file but a client.db file. Not sure what is going on with your install otherwise, I am still getting used to the v8 client and so far have only used it with macOS systems for CPU folding.
