Localhost connect problem

[Jonechaos]

A newly configured workstation could not connect to localhost(127.0.0.1:36330). The connection status changed to online after connecting, but immediately changed back to connecting. I tried everything I knew, but still doesn't work. I am desperate to get help.
My system：
CPUS:Two EPYC 7452 32Core Processor ,2 way cpus in system
GPU: RTX A4000
Motherboard:Supermirco H12DSi-N6
OS：Windows 10 workstation

If you don't have the latest AMD chipset drivers, you could also try that.

Hope you mean the OS is Windows 10 Pro for Workstations in order to support multiple sockets and that many threads.

Since CPU work units usually support at most 32 threads, you will need to create four folding slots of 32 threads each to get the most out of these CPUs.

I already tried the latest AMD chip driver, but it`s useless.And yes my OS is Windows 10 Pro for Workstations.I will try update my motherboard BIOS and see it works or not.

I tried BIOS update and nothing change. It still can not connect to localhost(127.0.0.1:36330).The connection status changed to online after connecting, but immediately changed back to connecting.Any other way?

Could see if the problem also happens under Linux. That might show if it's a Windows problem or a hardware problem.

Performance may be better on Linux than Windows anyway. At least on GPU work units, Linux performance is better most of the time. The LAR Systems database doesn't split CPU stats by OS, unfortunately.

I don`t konw why do I have this in my settings.I check my system and its already disable proxy. I`m not a expert for code or software, can you tell me how disable proxy in FAH ?

In FAHControl on the Proxy tab, uncheck "Enable proxy configuration"

If it's not checked and the proxy-enable v='true' line is still showing in the log output, it may be confused. You can try checking it, saving, then go back and uncheck and save again. The last resort is to carefully edit the file in Notepad and delete those two proxy lines. The service may have to be restarted or a reboot may be required for the change to take effect. Or there's even deleting the file or reinstalling F@H and generating a new one by configuring again.

The line that should be removed from config.xml is this one:

I tried but its no use. And I tride Joe_H`s post too.My config.xml looks like that :

From posts by others with the "Receive error: 997" problem, it may be caused by running FAHControl and might not be a real problem that prevents folding.

The log file you posted showed it attempting to get a connection to the assign1 and assign2 servers, but was failing due to the proxy on port 8080 being enabled. What does the log show now with the new config file? If it's still trying to connect to port 8080, a reboot or client reinstall may be needed.
