F@H wont load after a PC crash
I accidentally loaded up an unstable OC profile on my pc which caused a hard crash. I reloaded the proper conservative profile Ive been using for 2 months but now it wont load F@H. I've rebooted, i've uninstalled F@H and reinstalled, I've tried an older release of F@H, but it still gets stuck on the "Connecting to your Folding@Home client" page. Eventually the "need help?" part pops up but none of the suggestions work. Anybody have any ideas? Thank you so much. Im looking forward to getting this PC back online.

Welcome to the F@H Forum Lostcoast707,
Assuming that when you uninstalled it, you chose to delete all the data (make sure you have the username/passkey/team details stored in plain text elsewhere) and then do a fresh installation of V7.6.13: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=34466
If that doesn't work, please post the log file? Ensure you include the first 100 lines which will inform us of what the system configuration is and what the client settings are. If you require guidance, please view this topic: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036

Re: F@H wont load after a PC crash
Thank you for the suggestion. When I uninstalled i did not choose the delete data option. Are you saying to try the uninstall WITH the deletion of data and just try re-log in with my username and passkey? I am really wanting to get this PC going again soon. With this and one other PC ive managed to hit into the 8000's in ranking and I've only been running them for just over 2 months now.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

I did a data delete and reinstall. It started right up after putting in my credentials. Back online and folding again. Thank you for the guidance.

Re: F@H wont load after a PC crash
I am glad that it was sorted out and you're back folding
It seems that it is an issue when you're upgrading the client from a previous version: https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/fah-issues/issues/1419
