Ok, we'll try other approach.
Configure> Slots tab
Click on GPU slot to activate it, and the click Remove at the bottom. Click Save. Wait till you GPU slot in main viewer disappears and its work unit goes away as well. If work unit does not go away, don't worry, it will eventually.
Now go back to Configure>Slots Tab
Click Add at the bottom.
Select GPU in the middle.
Write 1 at GPU-Index
Write 1 at CUDA-Index
Click OK
Click Save
It should in theory now pick up new project, and hopefully start folding on nVidia GPU instead of Intel iGPU

Now the question is do you see GPU loaded?

Re: MSI Afterburner displaying low GPU Usage?
I restarted the client and it works. Now i have another problem: Is there a way to separately change the level of usage of my GPU because my GPU is going a bit too hot...

No, GPU is either full on, or idleTheProgrammer7 wrote:I restarted the client and it works. Now i have another problem: Is there a way to separately change the level of usage of my GPU because my GPU is going a bit too hot...

Re: MSI Afterburner displaying low GPU Usage?
IIRC there are some approaches people use to limit power to or adjust frequency of the GPU .. but I am not a GPU folder so can't help with these … I think it works that the GPU still works at 100% of the power available or at 100% of the frequency set but since these are lower than the norm for the GPU it runs cooler.
Some searching of these forums should find threads that discuss this or hopefully someone with experience of this might be able to respond here.

Re: MSI Afterburner displaying low GPU Usage?
You can use MSI Afterburner to
increase the fans from auto to a high enough percentage to stay as cool as you want
reduce the power limit to e.g. 80%
reduce the core clock to e.g. -200MHz
all of these will slow your gpu for all apps not just FAH. You can also use Afterburner to save different "profiles" i.e. sets of settings, so a slow profile for folding and a normal profile for gaming or whatever.
