RX 580 Issues

Put together a system with spare parts but can not get the GPU to work Sapphire Radeon RX580 it worked in my main system prior to installing a RX5700XT.

This is what my System Info Tab has

GPUs 1
GPU 0 Bus: 8 Slot:0 Func:0 AMD:5 Ellesmere XT [Radeon RX 470/480/570/580/590]
Not detected: Failed to open dynamic library 'nvcuda.dll': The specified module could not be found.

I am aware that the demand for GPU WUs is a lot higher than the supply but work is being done to address this.

What happens if you open up FAHControl -> Configure -> Slots Tab -> Add -> Select GPU -> OK -> Save

In theory, you need to add a GPU slot and that's it

That worked this time. I had tried that before and it did not change it.

Has been folding fine since this. I have seen a couple other users have to add a second time to get it to show up

I had to reinstall because I screwed something up and now can not get a gpu slot added again

Finally got the GPU slot to add after about 60 attempts.

In case you were wondering, the reason why a fresh installation of V7.6.9 wasn't picking up the GPU was because the GPUs.txt file wasn't downloaded. It would automatically download after the client/system restarts. The workaround is to manually download the GPUs.txt file in the correct location. This issue has been resolved in the latest beta of the client.

Where is "there"? FAH only looks in the place it downloads it ... in it's working files area.
