GPU Unit WU shows 0 (0,0,0) in Web Control

Hello, new poster here and new to folding in general. I am pretty sure this is just a web viewer issue, but for WU running on my GPU when my CPU is idle, I've noticed they all say 0 (0,0,0) in the web viewer. However, the most recent one, when I checked the advanced control, it *does* show 14533 (0, 6987, 2) as the WU currently being worked on.

I honestly am not worried about points calculation, or any of those other things, I'm mostly concerned that my GPU is actually doing something that is helping out the researchers, and not just making a lot of noise inside my PC

My specs as per the "New Members, Start here" post:
Computer Specs: Intel Core i7-8700k 3.70 GHz (although it shows 4.29 in Win10 Task Manager) 64 GB RAM, 6 physical cores, 12 logical processors. GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, 8GB VRAM
Network Connection: Fiber, gigabit
Operating System: Windows 10, Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363 (I have 2 Linux systems but they are CPU only, and this is a GPU issue, so they're maybe not relevant to this post )
Overclocked?: Nothing, however CPU clocks up higher than the stock 3.70 (motherboard set to "performance" + water cooling)
Stable?: Yes
Software: Windows Client 7.5.1 Public Release. Not sure about core version? Whatever the default Windows installer uses
WU details: GPU, however the question pertains to WU showing as 0 (0, 0, 0) in the viewer instead of meaningful data.

Without more information (such as a posted log) I'm not sure what you're reporting.

Apparently you're working on two WUs, one for the CPU and one for the GPU. Either or both may be active or trying to download a new assignment. When a WU has been completed, FAHClient will attempt to get a new WU assigned, and until one is downloaded, the Control app shows the PRCG numbers as 0 (0,0,0). Once there's a new WU, the values are updated.

With the current flood of new Donors, all anxious to help solve the COVAID issues, our servers are overloaded, trying to service everyone so the 0 (0,0,0) may persist for a long time.

I am going to make one suggestion.

Set your # of CPUs to 9

You have 12 threads, F@H calls them CPUs.

One is reserved to feed your GTX 1070 data via the PCIE bus, leaving 11.

F@H hates prime large prime numbers, and multiples of large primes. 7 is always large, sometimes 5 is large, 3 never is.

So currently it is set to 11 which is a large Prime, and may fail.

If you choose 10 that is 2 x 5 and 5 can be a large prime so sometimes fails

If you choose 9, that is 3 x 3 and it should never fail due to this quirk.

In the lower right in the task bar you should see the F@H molecule icon (you may need to press an up arrow to see it ^)

the second item on this menu should be Advanced Control, click it

a screen should pop up and near the left should be a configure button, click it

Now we get a screen and one tab should be Slots, click it

in a white area should be cpu and gpu, click cpu and then the Edit button

By default it is set to -1 which lets the software decide, but I would set it to 9.

then save and exit

The web control only shows the details for one folding slot at a time. Right now it's showing you the CPU slot which is inactive. Click on the GPU progress bar, and it should switch over to showing you the GPU folding slot info.

@jonault - OMG Now I feel like a total noob, that did the trick. I didn't even realize that the 2 different progress bars were like, tabs in the interface. In my defense, I think I need to up the contrast on this monitor, because they're almost the same color no matter which is selected (or maybe I've been staring at the monitor too long doing other things)

Don't feel bad, you're not the only person to have trouble with that recently. I think the problem is, the tabs are so large that they don't really look like tabs.
