F@H client on the Windows store will give more visibility

Post by massimo2 »

Hi all,

why don't you publish the folding@home client on the Windowst store?
It will give a lot more visibility and ease of download/installation.

It's easy to convert a win32/64 desktop application with the bridge tool (Project Centennial), so that you can publish it in the store.

thanks

Running GPU since it came out, CPU since client version 3.
Folding since Folding began (~2000) and ran Genome@Home for a while too.
Ran Seti@Home prior to that.

Probably because they dont have the work to feed everyone currently folding, let alone adding more users that will join the masses that have no work to fold. Until they fix the infrastructure, adding clients is pointless. Advertising for clients, even more pointless.
