Vega is working on 7nm cards; should be interesting, but not due until somewhere in 2019.
In the meantime, if you want to stick with AMD, there's always the Titan V.

Titan V is made by NV, not AMD ...

You're right, my bad.
Currently AMD has nothing to beat the pascal cards, until perhaps the 7nm cards.
I just fear at those sizes, quality might suffer.
7nm is below the 10nm they previously deemed the safety limit for transistors.
