Hi there - I recently installed the standard windows client and my machine has been happily folding away on both the CPU and GPU slots.
I used to run the PS3 client and enjoyed the visualisation that came with it - however I notice that visualisation only seems to be available for the CPU slot and not the GPU slot - when I try to visualise the GPU folding I get the visualisation window but no graphics. Is it not able to work on the GPU slot?
if i recall correctly no tdr files are produced for gpus hence no visualizations. i think proteneer mentioned something about this once but its been awhile i could be mistaken.
Hardware configuration: Intel i7-4770K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR3-2133 Corsair Vengence (black/red), EVGA GTX 760 @ 1200 MHz, on an Asus Maximus VI Hero MB (black/red), in a blacked out Antec P280 Tower, with a Xigmatek Night Hawk (black) HSF, Seasonic 760w Platinum (black case, sleeves, wires), 4 SilenX 120mm Case fans with silicon fan gaskets and silicon mounts (all black), a 512GB Samsung SSD (black), and a 2TB Black Western Digital HD (silver/black).
I've just manually opened positions.xtc & viewerFrame##.json in my FAH work\Slot ID dir with FAHViewer and saw something. But I don't think it attached to current folding simulation process 'cause viewer not connecting to my localhost client in this mode. And I don't wait for vis feature further fixed for v7 clients
