Core 21 issues

Post by Librarian »

Hello,

Starting from last night I am having trouble with Core 21 for my GPU. I keep getting an error message when it tries to do a *21 WU. The popup dialog reads:
The procedure entry point clRetainDevice could not be located in the dynamic link library OpenCL.dll
I have gone and deleted the core and tried to redownload, no go. I reinstalled FAH 7.4.4 and it worked with a *18 WU then it got another *21 and again I get an error again. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciate it. I have made no changes to my system since December and until I did the reinstall, my computer has not done a reboot in months.

01:39:18:WARNING:WU02:FS01:FahCore returned: UNKNOWN_ENUM (-1073741511 = 0xc0000139)
I am using the beta flag (for past month or so without issues). Thank you

We're guessing that minimum version of drivers requirements are needing a bump for core 21 : viewtopic.php?p=278157#p278157

hi toTow, you are correct. After Bruce had mentioned the Bea forum, I read it and saw that thread. Updated my drivers and so far so good. Thank you for helping.

I see from a post a couple before yours in that thread that ChristianVirtual seems to be running Core_21 OK with NV 346.46 drivers on Linux- is it likely to be a problem with Windows drivers only?

I'm running Core_21 WUs fine with 346.46 on Mint, but only adv client, not beta. I'm not sure what may have changed- I think there's a later core?

Ah, there's clearly more than "a" later core- mine is v0.0.3 :D
