- Hardware configuration: Core i7 3770K @3.5 GHz (not folding), 8 GB DDR3 @2133 MHz, 2xGTX 780 @1215 MHz, Windows 7 Pro 64-bit running 7.3.6 w/ 1xSMP, 2xGPU
4P E5-4650 @3.1 GHz, 64 GB DDR3 @1333MHz, Ubuntu Desktop 13.10 64-bit
Re: Nvidia GeForce 344.11 WHQL drivers
On a pair of 780s, I'm still seeing the 5-10% slowdown I was seeing on previous 34x drivers vs. what I do on 337.88.
Re: Nvidia GeForce 344.11 WHQL drivers
On the first WU I got it looks like it is doing a little better. I'm using 1300x for comparison. On first glance it looks like previous 34x may have lost closer to -10% and 344.11 closer to -5%. But I haven't really run enough WUs to say with any confidence.
Re: Nvidia GeForce 344.11 WHQL drivers
I am folding on one pair of 780 ti and I got 5% increase in PPD, and I got 5% reduction in CPU usage. 13000 and 13001 tested.
Re: Nvidia GeForce 344.11 WHQL drivers
On two GTX 750 Ti's running under Win7 64-bit, I see a decrease in PPD from about 66k to 59k, or a 10% loss (P9201). I am going back to the 340.52 drivers.

Re: Nvidia GeForce 344.11 WHQL drivers
344.11 still has the slowdown seen since 327.23 on GK104, on project 9201 / GTX 770 / 0x17 v. 0.0.52.

Re: Nvidia GeForce 344.11 WHQL drivers
344.11 is slower on p13000 work units on two different systems, each with two EVGA 780ti SC, clocked the same (1175 boost) versus 337.88 drivers:
On the Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK with a i7-4790K @ 4GHz, the slowdown averages 12 seconds per frame (TPF: 5:17 with 337.88, and 5:29 with 344.11)
On the ASUS P8Z77-V LK with a i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz the slowdown is less, averaging 4 seconds per frame (TPF: 5:15 with 337.88, and 5:19 with 344.11)
Both systems are running Win7 x64, 16GB @1600, SSD drives and measured over ~75 frames using HFM v0.9.2, using Process Lasso to dedicate 4 cores (2 physical, 2 hyperthread) to both GPUs and the other 4 cores dedicated to an SMP work unit. Systems are both dedicated to folding with no other applications running.

Exactly the same setup, slowdown and corrective action here. Core 0x17:Version 0.0.52JimF wrote:On two GTX 750 Ti's running under Win7 64-bit, I see a decrease in PPD from about 66k to 59k, or a 10% loss (P9201). I am going back to the 340.52 drivers.

Re: Nvidia GeForce 344.11 WHQL drivers
I agree with PS3EdOlkkola, I also am running two (2) GTX 780 Ti's and 344.11 is about 10% slower on both gpu's so I rolled it back and the 10% came back
