You're already doing what I was suggesting.
Many donors have reported that adjusting the CPU:12 to CPU:10 actually improves their productivity plus reduces heat somewhat. That's not necessarily true in every case, so note the PPD before and after ... but wait a while for the PPD to stabilize.

According to my motherboard, the CPU is running at 70C. EVGA's PrecisionX reports the GPU running at 73C. I don't think that's too bad, plus it helps keep the room warm.
