Success! I looked around in the files/directories under /Applications/FAHControl.app/Contents but I didn't see anything that looked like a work folder with a work queue folder to delete. So I deleted the CPU slot, added a GPU slot, removed the GPU slot, and added a CPU slot. My system is starting to make a racket doing the new work as I type. :-)
