I installed the software on my hp pavilion dv7 4050 ed notebook.
The CPU is an Intel core I5 M 430 and it is folding without any problem (I think)
The GPU, an ATI mobility Radeon HD 5650 is giving me problems.
It is in the slot but after it finaly starts after being constant in "waiting for idle" is states "failed" after a couple of seconds.
It seems like I'm not able to update my driver, if I try it gives a message I have to use the driver provided by HP

The default configuration for a laptop GPU is to run only when idle -- sort of like a screensaver would run. If you leave your machine unattended, the GPU will start processing but you really won't be able to see that because (also about like trying to see how much CPU time a screensaver is using) the WebControl or FAHControl program won't be visible until you interrupt the idle state which will pause the GPU again.
I've seen reports that repeatedly interrupting the GPU leads to a reported WU failure. I have not confirmed that as a bug but that's not the way it's supposed to operate.
Leave your laptop folding overnight and then post the segment showing what happened. Note that the times in the log are in GMT so you'll have to adjust for whatever timezone you're in.

Like I've already told in my first post, I get a message of the installer I have to use the drivers provided by my notebook manufacturer.

Is there a newer version of the drivers available from HP? You also need the AMD-ATI SDK installed for OpenCL support. But if the drivers from HP correspond to a version that is too old of the standard ATI driver, you may not be successful in getting your laptop to fold on the GPU.
