GPU client not getting WU's
Has anyone else has this issue? For the past 3 or 4 days my GTX-680 has been sitting idle. I'm using the V7 Client, and the work server is reported as 0.0.0.0
And on a side note, any word on an optimized Kepler core?

Re: GPU client not getting WU's
Both problems might be resolved it you download the latest GPUs.txt file:

Re: GPU client not getting WU's
Folding on 680s only seems to work using the beta setting, which is discussed in the beta section of the forum.
Any news about Kepler optimizations would get posted in the FAH Blog (News) linked at the top of this forum page.

Re: GPU client not getting WU's
I did use the new GPU's file, I've been folding on this same card since April. Now all of a sudden it stops working. I don't think it's the card, since it works fine on games.

Re: GPU client not getting WU's
There is apparently an update to the gpu.txt file that you need to dl to replace the old one with. I ran into the same issue and replacing the gpu.txt file got me up and running again.

Re: GPU client not getting WU's
The previous GPUs.txt file had a bug were it would show 2 available GPU slots, a 670 and a 680. It would allow you to fold on either "GPU"
But now that bug has been fixed in both the GPUs.txt and on the Assignment server. The problem is that you may have been folding on the 1 of the 2 GPU IDs that was fixed (disabled).
Removing and re-adding the GPU slot may resolve that issue.

Re: GPU client not getting WU's
Ok. I tried removing and then re-adding the GPU client/slot. I also replaced the GPUs.txt with the one you guys provided. It did nothing, it just gives up immediately on downloading a project and reverts to "unknown". This is getting frustrating...
Re: GPU client not getting WU's
I presume you are using standard/non-beta settings? Otherwise there isn't anything that anyone can say in this section of the forums - as per 7ims first post.

Nothin' . I don't get it, it gives up instantly on a download. It doesn't even seem to be trying.
