long 1-4 interactions and Project 1487

Post by GTron »

I just completed 4 project 1487 WUs on a new folder and noticed on each the long 1-4 interactions warning in the FAHlog.txt even before the 0 steps message (see example below). The WUs eventually completed, and I was glad not to see the CoreStatus and client-core communication error messages that seem to usually follow, but thought it strange none-the-less. Is this a characteristic of this project or just a coincidence?

The 4 WUs:
Project: 1487 (Run 0, Clone 284, Gen 21)
Project: 1487 (Run 0, Clone 327, Gen 24)
Project: 1487 (Run 0, Clone 812, Gen 22)
Project: 1487 (Run 0, Clone 654, Gen 19)

This is "normal" for this project and won't cause the end of the WU (like it does usually) ... :)

Thanks toTOW!
It seemed a little too weird to be normal, but to have all 4 be a coincidence seemed even weirder, hence the question. I'm glad it's only weird...I mean "normal"!

What exactly is project 1487? It's rather large and taking quite a long time to move 1%. I'm hoping the point value is worth it. :)

The project lookup page says it's a new project and stay tuned :\

Nice! I have 2 or 3 or those chugging along. Anyone know what this project deals with though? Rough description or anything?
