How many potential folders are lost when the first thing they download hasn't got a chance of working? A few come here and get help, some go to a team forum to get help, many more just give up.
Mark Friedrichs from Pande Group acted quickly to resolve this. The download page now has a console client link to a .zip file with the v6.41 executable, and the needed .dll files.
Thanks to all who helped accomplish this update.

Thanks,
I am back from the long weekend and was pleased to see the reference to the new Fermi Console 641 zip file on the downloads page.
However, after downloading, unzipping and configuring the console client ... I still have exactly the same problem as I described earlier in this thread !!
This is a new hardware build with all new parts. Could it be a hardware/Fermi (Evga GTS450) problem ??

What drivers are you running?
Post FAHlog please.

Thanks for the thread link.
I have no other diver version on this new machine so I guess I have to scrub out v270.61
Is something like DriverCleaner Pro needed?

I prefer to use Driver Sweeper which is freeware (
http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ ).
