Hey 7im,
Have you still got problems?
If you route your data via tor (if you have it) or guardster (if not), etc, does the problem still occur?

Yes, still having problems. I just posted that last entry. Pages are slow to load, half the time the pages are not found, etc. The smilies take forever to download each time I try to post. It took 10 tries to post this message.

Re: phpbb3 technical issues
Its working fine over here.
I wonder if theres some congestion on your ISPs network?
If you can reroute traffic via a proxy that may help things in the short term. Beyond that i dont know what to suggest.
Hope it sorts out soon.

Re: phpbb3 technical issues
Since yesterday, I've been seeing blank pages (without any error) and slow loading page (more likely long wait between request and answer ... but when the page start to load, it's normal).

Re: phpbb3 technical issues
That IP doesn't resolve to any named DNS.
Maybe contact SiteGround and ask them WTH?! is wrong with their Uplink.
P.S. The number of hops from work is 1/2 of my home connection, and the times are very quick, except for those last few. I guess SiteGround must do a lot of hosting. But they need to add alternate routing so that one IP isn't the single point of failure.

Re: phpbb3 technical issues
I've just submitted a ticked to siteground about this. Lets see what they say.
Edit: Apparently it's still a result of them having to switch a border router that connects their server racks to the internet backbone. There are still some issues with DNS records propagating through the internet.

How long is this going to take? It's been almost a week. Check this tracert from tonight. I had to go watch a movie and come back 2 hours later to see if it worked any better. It did, but then most of the US is in bed or passed out drunk by now.
