Is this to do with the earlier CS problem (have uploaded a completed protomol WU since this one)?

I'm not sure which CS problem you're referring to.

I can't see any obvious reason you can't upload that WU to that server.

The usual suggestions are to reset your router, reboot your machine, and see if anything changes when you restart the client.

Giving those suggestions isn't something that I like to do because they categorically admit that I have no idea what's wrong. Nevertheless, I had it work recently. (Different server, different project, so unrelated). One of my machines has been processing WUs continuously for quite some time without problems. Then I discovered a WU that repeatedly failed to upload -- even though the machine was processing another WU from the same project/sever and no other machine was having problems. I reset my router and it uploaded. Coincidence? Perhaps, but certainly not something with an obvious explanation.

No. That doesn't explain why you didn't get credit.

When someone fails to return it by the preferred deadline, it is reissued. Then it's not a matter of who finishes first. Both of them can get credit.

The server was definitely messed up and apparently your WU was lost somewhere in that process, but the science moves on, now that somebody has finished it.

Shows what you know; less than an hour later another contributor posts that they ALSO are having issues with that server. Obviously you are 100% wrong, provided nothing and thus shouldn't comment. The server has NOT been fixed.

Every 6 hours, the clients try to send the results back, unsuccesfully.

I dont care about the 162 points. Well ..., not really, but not much.
I mostly care about fixing the problem for those who realy do.
