Looks like I'm experiencing the same issue.
Accessing http://171.64.65.62 using my web browser returns "unable to connect" message. Same response when attempting to access port 8080.
The server status page shows 171.64.65.62 with status=Full and connect=Reject
The log page for 171.64.65.62 shows this server has been Full/Reject since Sun May 9 10:35:10 PDT 2010
My CPU client will of course keep attempting to resend but posting this just in case someone, like maybe vvoelz, isn't aware... :)

Cannot upload to this server. There does not appear to be an alternate collection server assigned. Note message, "Server does not have a record of this unit." So far, upload has failed 15 times. I do not see anything wrong when I check server status. Can anyone provide an explanation of what the problem may be?

Sometimes the message "Server does not have record of this unit" is due to an interruption in communications between the Work Server and the Collection Server. Other times, it means that the WU has already been uploaded. In this case, you did get (partial) credit for it and uploading it again isn't going to be accepted. I suggest you delete the WU so your client will stop repeatedly trying to upload it.

Hi DrBB1 (team 39340),
Your WU (P6503 R14 C581 G22) was added to the stats database on 2010-05-11 14:03:07 for 59.45 points of credit.

The message " Read packet limit of 540015616... Set to 524286976." has never been adequately explained, but it does seem to be related to some kind of upload problems.

------------------

The Reject status of 171.64.65.62 was corrected about 14 hours ago and it has been busy dealing with the backlog. It seems to be getting back to normal now.

Thanks Bruce. I can confirm my CPU client successfully uploaded my WU for Project: 6501 (Run 17, Clone 840, Gen 8) completed May 9 about 7 hours ago.

Bruce,

Thanks for the explanation. With respect to the following,

Your WU (P6503 R14 C581 G22) was added to the stats database on 2010-05-11 14:03:07 for 59.45 points of credit.
is there a way for me to access this information about the status of one of my own uploads, or is this something only administrators have access to?

Thanks for the help.

When I asked about it, the response was it wasn't an error but a notification. Here is some more info (http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=13747)

That's what I figured, but since the message started "Hi DrBB1...," I thought it might be for users, too. No harm in asking... :ewink:

Thanks again, Bruce.

Bruce was telling you what the database says for (P6503 R14 C581 G22). It knows who you are and what team you're on and that's apparently automatically part of the reports that the mods post when they're helping anybody.
