171.64.65.65 not crediting units

Post by daveb »

The last 5 units I have returned to 171.64.65.65 over the past few days do not appear to have been credited.

Project: 2611, Run 1, Clone 907, Gen 162 Returned Feb 17 @ 6:03 UTC
Project: 2613, Run 12, Clone 3, Gen 151 Feb 18 @ 6:32 UTC
Project: 2613, Run 88, Clone 2, Gen 158 Feb 18 @ 5:40 UTC
Project: 2613, Run 76, Clone 2, Gen 159 Feb 18 @ 6:28 UTC
Project: 2611, Run 0, Clone 759, Gen 158 Feb 18 @ 5:54 UTC

At least several of these machines have successfully uploaded units to this server in the past. All appeared to upload successfully in the FAHlog files.
For example:

Code: Select all

[05:44:34] + Number of Units Completed: 156

[05:45:03] + Sent 1 of 1 completed units to the server
Can someone please let me know if there is a problem on my end?

Thanks,

The server log indicates it went down after Tue Feb 16 08:55:10 PST 2010.
It came back to life around Tue Feb 16 18:05:10 PST 2010.
Since then the WUs RCV count continues to increase. Normally this figure decreases hourly as the stats update and you receive credit.
To me it looks like it's a server problem and not something wrong with your machines.

On a side note, % Ass % Ass 80 columns are empty since the server came back to life so it appears that it's not assigning new work either.

I'm checking deeper into your problem and don't have a real answer yet, but I do see one possibility.

At one time or another, you have spelled carlsbad.***********.com two different ways.

I want to thank all of you for the information you provided.
r2w_ben, I only noticed that the server status showed full and accepting after it came back up, I didn't think to check the received column and note that the units were piling up.
Bruce, I have made more than a few mistakes typing in my ridiculously long username over the past years. I did go back and check that the name for all of the units posted here was correct.

I just noticed that one of my machines has pulled down a new unit from 171.64.65.65, and I received credit for 5 units and ~3.600 pts, so I assume that everything has been fixed.
