I've had enough!

Post by jrnull »

I am not sure this is the right forum for this post, but, I could not see another that fit my needs.
I regret that I have to give up folding at home, but the way that statistics are kept and records of
WU's are kept just make it impossible for me to keep folding at this time.
I will check in again later to see, But my WU's(unearned) vs WU's(earned) seem
to make my machine unusable in this project. VERY SORRY!

Goodbye

John.

jrnull,

I am very sorry for you. You are missing the major point of this Project in exchange for your "missed points".

Hope that you never need the results that this Project will bring to the rest of us.

Best Regards, Fernando.

Other than just posting your unhappyness, why not post your problem, with more info, and get help.

Odds are its a mis-config of the clients.

I am pretty green, but with pretty much plain systray installations and putting in the right team number, my stats for 15 machines set up this past month appear fine. I do now pretty much use kakaostats.com to get the team summary. I agree about the ask for help part. Folks helped me get my CPU usage down from 50% default to 10% by tuning the environment variables.

Hello jrnull,

some answers above are right. You can stop F@H, it's your choise. But test the helpfullness in this forum first.
I just did so. And they told me, V. Pande's team is installing new server. (24GB Ram, ... ^^ )

Once I had had problems with my config-file. It was changed by itself. Not very funny. But at last, I was able to fix the problem by myself.
Have courage and write about your problems. :ewink:

Stopping F@H means, your CPUs are boring. GPU?
