Project: 2671 (Run 29, Clone 72, Gen 145) [fixed]

Post by GTron »

Project: 2671 (Run 29, Clone 72, Gen 145) appears to be a bad WU as it has 36500004 steps instead of the usual 250000 (146x bigger than usual) and will miss its deadline by months.

I will flush this WU off my folder. Pande Group, please check and remove from the servers. (Log snippet below.)

Thanks,
Greg

This work unit has been fixed on the servers. Future assigns should have the correct number of steps.

Thank you Dr. Kasson for your prompt action. As expected, my folder received this WU again after finishing the 2677 it processed after I flushed the earlier version. While I noticed the major reduction in steps to 500000, that still appears to be 2x what 2671 WUs usually are. I will let it run, but you may want to double check this WU. My folder should return it by Fri 13:30 PST. (Log snippet below.)

Thanks,
Greg

I've got the same WU RCG. It too is taking twice as long as the P2671 (59,76,147) it did before.
