Instant EUE, my 4870 is stable with all the other projects. Had to delete the unitinfo.dat and work folder to get it to download a different unit.

I got this WU again. Too many failing WUs lately, very annoying, but not giving up yet.

Restarting the client may get you a different WU after multiple EUEs.

Yeah, I noticed the other thread after I had already made this one.

Question arises though, if it's already known to be bad since quite a while, why is it still being sent out again and again?

There's a server feature that is supposed to eliminates a WU after a certain number of errors but it doesn't always act as fast as most of us would like it to. It has to retry a WU a certain number of times to allow for that fact that it can't tell whether your hardware was unstable or the WU itself was unstable.

Sometimes when the automatic feature doesn't kick in, the WUs get removed manually by the project owner. I'll notify him.

I've killed this project from further assignments. (WUs still out in the world will be accepted, though).
