I have not been able to transmit this work unit for awhile. If it is relevant, I am using Solaris 10 x64 (8/07) and wine-20050725 with the Windows console client 5.04.

I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but looking at the server status page, server 171.64.122.70 isn't listed. Looking at the psummary page I can see p3619 WUs are currently being issued by server 171.64.122.82.

How long ago was that WU issued and finished?

Could you run qd on that queue.dat file and post the info here?

I notice you seem to have 3 different client installs on your computer. The third install, probably running machine id 3, you need to reconfigure your client to not use IE Settings. Using IE Settings is resulting in the same WUs being resubmitted over and over again. If it's not that let us know.

Hi wyang (team 42369),
Your WU (P2585 R68 C87 G5) was added to the stats database on 2008-02-11 16:15:34 for 217 points of credit.

The message in my first post indicates WU being completed 2/11; my guess would then be that it was issued no earlier than 2/9. Based on the above debug output, it looks like it should actually be project 2585.

I'm not sure how to disable "use IE settings", but based on the above output it looks like the one its trying to retransmit is the same one you are seeing as being added for 0 points.

It has been uploaded. 20 times already. It will continue to be repeatedly uploaded along with any other WUs you complete until you change the "Use IE Settings" configuration option to "No". After uploading the client isn't deleting the wuresults_0x.dat file because of the configuration setting.

As it turns out my setting for use IE was already off. Contents of my client.cfg for that instance (without information about the proxy I use):

Code: Select all

[settings]
username=wyang
team=42369
asknet=no
machineid=3

[http]
active=yes
host=*clip*
port=8888
usereg=no
usepasswd=no

[clienttype]
memory=512

Somehow your settings, or something else, is preventing the client from receiving acknowledgement that the WU was uploaded. As a result the client isn't deleting the wuresults_0x.dat file in the work folder after the upload. You can delete the file manually to prevent further uploads.
