Re: Launch F@h at Startup?
Heh the "should it be allowed" was quoted from the original question. I personally think it's unethical and flat out wrong.

Re: Launch F@h at Startup?
There was one person or team that had included a F@H install with all his cracks. Told people to run that program with his team number and then run the actual crack. The unsuspecting user would do it not knowing it was helping him gain massive points on F@H. http://forums.legitreviews.com/post125571...

The console client running as a service is pretty invisible. No window to stare at, just a background process that's only visible in Task Manager. This requires a reboot after initial installation and from then on it's invisible.

Re: Was I wrong?
I dunno, if I owned a team and someone wanted to join and contribute I wouldn't have any issues with it. It could be that team is picky or maybe you're just paranoid ;) . If they have a website or contact information you may wish to ask them. Heck, I joined my current team because I was too lazy to ...

Re: Which client(s) do you use?
lol Tigerbiten you've got a beast of a farm! I have 5x Linux SMP's on dual quad-core servers, 1x Linux SMP on a dual-core and 6x Linux unified clients. All were stagnant equipment so I decided 'why not'.

Reactor PC for FAH
A friend showed me the 'Attack of the Show' video review of the Reactor PC and it's a beast of a machine! I'd love to see someone run FAH on this thing and show some stats   Supposedly it can take some pretty heavy overclocking. http://www.g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/gad ... eview.html ht...

Nice! I have 2 or 3 or those chugging along. Anyone know what this project deals with though? Rough description or anything?

Re: long 1-4 interactions and Project 1487
What exactly is project 1487? It's rather large and taking quite a long time to move 1%. I'm hoping the point value is worth it.
The project lookup page says it's a new project and stay tuned :\

Re: Any point to uniprocessor folding?
You may not get incredible points and WU output but you are donating precious WU's. Besides, it's fun to be competitive and watch your stats grow... even if on a small scale.... although I must say I'm jealous of toTOW's 24hr average :\

I've PM'd Vince (vvoelz) and he's currently working on the issue. The hard drives are full. He hopes to have the issue resolved today.
Thanks Vince!
