1828[2,3] now on FAH!

[GPU] This project series is the latest in our efforts to understand how accurately force fields model various aspects of protein dynamics. Here we focus of the globular protein Interleukin 2, or IL2. IL2 is an important immunomodulator, controlling whether cells activate or repress immune cell func...

p18263 now on FAH

[GPU] p18263 – Simulations of tau's proline rich region in amber99sb*-ILDN with tip4pd water. As before, this is a fairly large system so we are restricting WUs to clients with >8000MiB of RAM. We've made each WU in this project a bit longer than the others in the tau series to cater to higher end G...

[GPU] p18261 – Simulations of tau's proline rich region in amber19sb with opc3-pol water. As before, this is a fairly large system so we are restricting WUs to clients with >8000MiB of RAM. An added note- opc3-pol water is not natively recognized as a "water" molecule which causes issues w...

p18245 now on FAH!

[GPU] p18245 – Simulations of ApoE4. We've had a lot of success with our recent force field comparison projects for disordered proteins (p18255-18261) and have identified a force field that seems to perform well for both folded and disordered proteins. Having this, we hope to perform additional simu...

Re: Project: 18258 (Run 93, Clone 5, Gen 14)

Hi all, Thanks Mactin for reporting this. At the moment we're thinking this is tied to a bunch of server havoc that happened on/around Oct 1. Several servers went down unexpectedly, causing work to pile up on collection servers and then as they came back online all the servers became overloaded tryi...

project 182[65,67-70, 72-74] now on FAH!

How protein dynamics change during antibody maturation is largely unknown. In the 18265-18274 project series we aim to generate large simulation datasets to help understand how HIV and influenza neutralizing antibodies achieve their potency. Here we have the rest of the projects in the series: [GPU]...

Re: 158.130.118.26 slow download

Thank you! I've passed this along to our networking team to see what they can do. This issue seems to erratically pop up for us and we've had trouble pinning down a reason.

[GPU] p18255 – Simulations of tau's proline rich region in Amber14SB with TIP3P water. A note that that this project, like 18251, is particularly RAM intensive as it has a high atom count. We've restricted assignment to clients with >8Gb RAM available. https://stats.foldingathome.org/project/18255 <...

Re: Feedback on Highland Servers?

Thanks again Retvari Zoltan. I wanted to pop in to let you know we've logged the above instances, but remain flummoxed about what is causing the issue (and even something we can control to your point about network congestion).

Re: 18224 will not make the timeout (Radeon 780M)

Hey arisu, sorry an 18224 made it to your GPU. We've got additional restrictions in place now to prevent this. I believe that 12705 has been adjusted though I'm not the project manager for that project. To your previous question: Actually, how long after the timeout expires does a duplicate WU get s...
