Wow, that's some power...
I wonder what it will crunch on Ubuntu/Linux.

Question about managing a F@H team
Hi peeps, I fold as part of team Argentina (1747), and I have done so for around 10 years. I am by far the main contributor to the team (~98% of points). I did NOT create the team, it was created by someone else ("Pablo"), whom I do not know. Also it is safe to say that the creator is inac...

Re: Impossibly slow servers
Hi jjmiller, The issue remains. It seems to be due to me being in Indonesia, and it applies to any server, not just Upenn's. Look at the screenshot below: https://i.ibb.co/Z61yLQn/Screenshot-2024-06-05-at-08-48-28.png It is always the same setup. May 23rd I started using a VPN, and you can see the c...

Re: Impossibly slow servers
Hi jjmiller,
The way it has been behaving lately, it seems to be across the board. Regardless, I'll keep an eye on specific servers and report back here.
Thank you.

Re: Impossibly slow servers
UPDATE: Indeed, there seems to be some limitation with location.
Running a VPN on all 3 machines, trying different countries (US, Singapore, Thailand, etc.) and the problem is gone.
For now it should do, however, any more details on why this restriction?

Re: Super slow downloads from 129.32.209.200:8080
Sorry for bringing this back to the top, but.... I am experiencing EXTREMELY slow downloads in all my rigs, it has been like that for over a week now. To the point that downloads drop before finishing. Sample log below: 07:40:21:I1:WU6105:DOWNLOAD 49% 15.30MiB of 31.24MiB 07:41:09:I1:WU6105:DOWNLOAD...

Re: v8.3.5 no longer automatically requests new work - have to pause then resume to get new WUs
I encountered a similar issue since April 13th: my 3 Ubuntu folding rigs (CPUs and GPUS) would download a Work Unit, and immediately return it. Logs would show "Bad Work Unit". I should mention there are 8 clients in total, all 8 were behaving the same way. Yesterday, I restarted all rigs,...

Indeed.
However, as explained on the other topic: when I edit the name (deleting.local) and click link, it does not save, and the "Save" button remains greyed out...

Thank you once again calxalot, but I am unable to fix the name and link the machine to the account, as we were discussing in a separate topic:

I see...
I hadn't realized about the "Anonymous" part... Strange, since the client is logged in on all my machines. See screenshots below.
