Re: "Irreducible ControlFlow detected" (fixed by reinstall)

It looks like the same error popped up again earlier today. The big difference is that this time, after rejecting one WU, it downloaded another one, and this second WU seems to be processing normally (~3.5% as of this writing). Here are logs from both successful and unsuccessful starts in the hopes ...

Re: "Irreducible ControlFlow detected" (fixed by reinstall)

The machine saw numerous reboots (with no apparent change) between when I updated the drivers and when I reinstalled the client.

Re: "Irreducible ControlFlow detected" (fixed by reinstall)

It's running driver version 20.11.2 and I downloaded it directly from AMD's site. It's interesting to note that before I reinstalled F@h, I tried updating the driver (it was previously running an earlier version, I forget which one) to see if that would fix the problem (it didn't).

Re: Project 13428 "Irreducible ControlFlow detected"

Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys... I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the F@h client and that appears to have done the trick. I'll let you know if I see this issue in the future.

"Irreducible ControlFlow detected" (fixed by reinstall)

I just received three WUs, all from the same project (13428), that failed within a minute or two of launch: project:13428 run:2629 clone:41 gen:0 project:13428 run:5913 clone:40 gen:0 project:13428 run:5284 clone:49 gen:2 Each of these WUs threw a "Irreducible ControlFlow Detected" error a...

Project: 16926 (Run 81, Clone 35, Gen 7) divide by 0 error

When I received this WU, it threw an error indicating that it was trying to divide by zero and finished almost immediately: 05:03:22:WU02:FS00:0xa8:Project: 16926 (Run 81, Clone 35, Gen 7) 05:03:22:WU02:FS00:0xa8:Unit: 0x0000000d8120d1cc5fbd3767e44f9511 05:03:22:WU02:FS00:0xa8:Reading tar file core....

Re: 4 WU that can´t get uploaded Project 16422

Hello, since my problem never went away i had time to tinker around a bit. It seems to be a problem with my ISP (German Telekom). If i got a WU that can´t be uploaded, i use the USB tethering of my Phone (diffrent ISP) an within seconds the WU is gone. I post this "solution" in case someo...

Re: Another duplicate: project:17403 run:0 clone:1930 gen:3

Last night, a little after halfway through this WU (I believe it was at about 54% or so) the client went berserk, immediately advancing to 99.99% with an ETA of "Unknown" and showing something like 4.2 billion for the estimated PPD. There was nothing in the logs about it, it's as though it...

Re: Another duplicate: project:17403 run:0 clone:1930 gen:3

Ah, so each time a WU is returned as Faulty, it automatically triggers two copies to be sent out as a verification process of sorts, even if there's already a successful completion on file? Is this expected behavior?

Another duplicate: project:17403 run:0 clone:1930 gen:3

Just got sent another duplicate on 17403:

Project:17403 run:0 clone:1930 gen:3

https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#proje ... 1930&gen=3

Looks like I'm the sixth to have received this (albeit two prior users returned it as "Faulty 2")

Another duplicate: Project: 17403 (Run 0, Clone 1906, Gen 3)

I've been sent another duplicate WU, this time for my GPU: Project: 17403 (Run 0, Clone 1906, Gen 3) https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#proje ... 1906&gen=3 Looks like this one has already been completed (successfully) three times before it was sent my way. It's my understanding that this is caus...

Re: Project: 14256 (Run 0, Clone 4117, Gen 30) duplicate?

Looks like it got sent out again today. This one may be worth keeping an eye on. Not particularly worried about who gets credit, just trying to flag stuff that doesn't look right in the hopes that it will uncover the information needed to fix the problem.

Re: Enormous job: how did I get it, how can I fix it?

I do not know if this will help, but it may be worth a try since you are running Windows. If you know how to get to the settings for power saving, set it to maximum performance. Then click the link for advanced settings and look for PCI Express. Double click on that line and click on link state man...

69.94.66.7 out of space

I just got a "Server did not like results, dumping" error from 69.94.66.7 (avast2.foldingathome.org). I'm assuming it's because that server currently has no free drive space?
