Re: Watchdog shutdowns on 16926 WUs
Like Joe_H said, they are still releasing these WUs. I was receiving them this morning. 14:18:34:WU00:FS00:Connecting to assign1.foldingathome.org:80 14:18:34:WU00:FS00:Assigned to work server 129.32.209.204 14:18:34:WU00:FS00:Requesting new work unit for slot 00: READY cpu:7 from 129.32.209.204 14:...

Re: Watchdog shutdowns on 16926 WUs
This is an old post, but I just woke up for the day and my logs are showing this is happening agin, so I'm glad you're looking into it. Thanks!

Watchdog shutdowns on 16926 WUs
Since last night (11/29/20), I've been getting WUs that are part of project 16926 that wind up triggering a "Watchdog soft shutdown", "hard shutdown", "WU_STALLED", and after several more attempts, it just returns it incomplete. I noticed other people are having some is...

Re: v7.6.20 MacOS FAHControl doesn't work
I have MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 and the new 7.6.21 gives me the same problem. I can't launch the FAHControl application. I'm going to reinstall 7.6.13 for the time being.

Re: I seem to have received a bad _a8 core update [OS X]
Since I started this thread I thought I would give you a short update. Once I found that the WUs and cores had been corrected, I simply unpaused my clients to let them run till they hit the expiration dates. That happened this morning, and I've had no issues on my three Macs. So for what it's worth,...

Re: I seem to have received a bad _a8 core update [OS X]
Okay. Then I'm going to unpause my machines. It'll drop the WUs after a day or so based on the Timeout and Expiration dates.

Re: I seem to have received a bad _a8 core update
Good. Do you happen to know if I should leave the clients paused or if keeping them running will allow the fix to get pushed out to them?

Re: I seem to have received a bad _a8 core update
Okay. I unchecked follow and refreshed the log file. I have included the beginning below. I'm still not sure if this is what you are looking for. By the way, I woke up this morning to find my two other computers have also hit the same issue. They are both Macs too. One is an iMac and the other is a ...

Re: I seem to have received a bad _a8 core update
To my knowledge, the first 100 lines are long gone in the log file. But I have found a section from the last time it successfully ran a 16810 WU on the previous a8 core. I hope this will do. I have paused it as you suggested. Also, I never signed up for any beta cores if that helps. 22:34:35:WU01:FS...

I seem to have received a bad _a8 core update [OS X]
A couple of hours ago my client downloaded an updated version of the _a8 core and promptly started giving the INTERRUPTED (102 = 0x66) error message over and over again. I followed the advice on another post to get the WU to be dumped. I removed the CPU slot, added a GPU slot, the work unit was dump...
