Neil - you're right. I must have added the "beta"-flag some day, maybe for testing.
I wasn't aware that it was still present there - so my fault!
Thanks for the hint!

Re: No more credits? WU 16927
Hi there, thanks for your replies. Meanwhile I got SOME credits for abt. half of the processed WUs. Still, I keep getting WUs with the same number 16927 and after processing the counter in my stats does not count up everytime. An why is that page still missing? https://stats.foldingathome.org/projec...

What do you mean by "els"?
Here are some options: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELS - but I still don't get your point.

Re: Connection to Client broken after Win 10 2004 update
Hi there, the hint with the GPUs.txt was good: It seems that this updated definition-file makes my client crash somehow. I found the following lines in the log: 05:50:54:ERROR:Exception: No available GPUs 05:50:54:ERROR:Exception: Option 'gpu-index' has no default and is not set. And later: 05:51:03...

Connection to Client broken after Win 10 2004 update
Hi there, on my workstation the connection between the FAHControl and the client running in the backgroud seems to be broken. This happend right after installing the Windows 10 2004 update. The FAHControl tries to connect to the client, but the connection gets closed immediately (showing "conne...

Re: Windows 10 w/ two 1080Ti: new clients not working
Hi HaloJones, thanks! That was the hint I needed to find the cause: It seems that fragments of a formerly installed Intel-driver had messed up the Registry with links to left-over DLLs of Intel's OpenCL implementation. This prevented the operation of NVIDIAs OpenCL somehow. I still do not understand...

The client process is running but does not open the port(s) for some reason.
Any ideas?

bruce, I really appreciate your attendance to help, but I feel like we're going in circles.
Believe me, the port is not there. It's not that some other software blocks any connection.

Re: 7.6.9 Upgrade Fails on Windows 10
I don't understand why GoG Galaxy would be putting programs in Program Files x86\FAHclient. The developer made what seemed like a reasonable assumption that the subdirectory named FAHClient could be owned by the developer of software named FAHClient. I think the strange behaviour is connected to th...

Re: Windows 10 w/ two 1080Ti: new clients not working
Hi bruce, I already tried everything that seemed reasonable to me, including manually starting the client w/ and w/o commandline-params, editing the config.xml, adding firewall-rules and temporarly disabling the firewall. But still no luck, the client still does not open any listening socket on port...
