Re: Linux CPU stall with corresponding "Clock Skew" warning.

tl;dr - one of the CPU cores failed. Didn't have anything to do with the WU's or the GPU's or the drivers at all.

Re: Linux CPU stall with corresponding "Clock Skew" warning.

So far with the power limit adjustment it hasn't griped, but i had a good >24h window between stalls yesterday, so I'm not 100% convinced. it hasn't hurt performance in any meaningful way, so that's good. bruce: Due to having two cards in the system, it's hard to nail down which WU might be the one ...

Re: Linux CPU stall with corresponding "Clock Skew" warning.

Trying the power limit on the GPU's idea now. Dropped to 100W from 120W max.

Linux CPU stall with corresponding "Clock Skew" warning.

Hey folks, Ever since core 22 0.0.13 dropped on my machine, some WU's (mostly 13426 project) have some kind of weird bug. The GPUs (GTX 1060 6GB) go off into la-la land and the entire machine freezes. It _usually_ comes back with a message similar to: kernel: [3036338.798684] watchdog: BUG: soft loc...

Re: P13418 (224, 113, 0) - 23m ppd

I hit the jackpot with three of those in a row on my little GTX 1060's. It was nice while it lasted, but I suspect it was either a case of "Misadventures in Automatic Code Generation" and they were basically NOP's; or someone added an extra 0 on the end of the base credit by accident. Eith...

Re: core22 0.0.10 released to full FAH!

Yeah, my box got killed a few days ago by the same thing.. ubuntu auto-upgraded the nvidia 440.82 drivers to 440.110 and the userspace no longer matched the running driver in the kernel and it didn't work until a reboot.

WORK_QUIT for WU 11752 (Run 0, Clone 9163, Gen 14)

Dunno what happened with this WU. It completed well within it's timeout period and didn't seem to throw any errors during computation. It doesn't appear in the /wu query as having been completed by anyone else, either. 12:49:48:WU02:FS00:Connecting to 18.218.241.186:80 12:49:48:WU02:FS00:Assigned to...

Re: Shorter WUs possible

It actually seems like they've been making the WU's larger lately; my guess is to spread out the network load on the work servers.

Re: 130.237.11.145 - Stats Issue P16801/3/4

This problem seems to still be happening, or has returned. I've got one in that state too. https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#project=16803&run=12&clone=388&gen=2 has been showing "Not Found", but logs say it was accepted. 20:18:09:WU01:FS00:Sending unit results: id:01 state:SEN...

Re: Only getting base credit for all CPU jobs, with valid bo

Uh... so why is emf+wrongkey not getting bonuses if it did 49 WU's ? shouldn't the most recent 39 have gotten bonus? (This has become an oddly interesting digression)

Re: Only getting base credit for all CPU jobs, with valid bo

"but you'd need to complete 10 more units under the "new" passkey" - uh.. the machine in question did 49 WU's on username/wrongkey. Are you saying that doing 10 more WU's on that machine with username/correctkey will 'unlock' those old points somehow?

Re: Only getting base credit for all CPU jobs, with valid bo

*sigh* Thanks. I did find it. There was a one digit transposition in the passkey on 4D79B5E2A12DB83.
Can that be corrected or are those points all lost forever?

Only getting base credit for all CPU jobs, with valid bonus

Hey, I've got that question about stats calculation again. At present, I've done 123 WU's. I've got a properly configured passkey, and I have doublechecked all the config.xml files to verify that the passkey is correct everywhere. I've checked https://apps.foldingathome.org/bonus and it shows 71 WU'...
